IATA’s Waste Management in Aviation course examines how to manage cabin waste effectively and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to review the cabin waste framework, understand the complexity of cabin waste operations within an airport environment, assess the regulatory environment that influences decision making, as well as review case studies and best practices. You will be in the position to understand the environmental and operational implications of proposed solutions and select the best options to address the relevant challenges.

Prerequisites
- Recommended level is Entry-level and Intermediate.
- The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 or the equivalent for courses held in languages other than English.

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on an assessment. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
